Who Is Eligible?
Any AFA member organization offering continuing education or training in fence installation, materials, or standards; gate operators/access control; or business operations (including sales, leadership, and efficiency) can become an AFA Approved Provider.
Program Cost
- $395 per year — with unlimited course submissions.
- First year waived — enjoy all the benefits at no cost during your first year of participation.
How to Apply
- Read the program guide — familiarize yourself with the AFA Approved Education Program Guide.
- Complete the online application — be sure your MyAFA Portal listing identifies you as a primary contact for your organization. If you need assistance, contact the AFA credentialing staff.
- Submit the signed license agreement — upload this agreement through your certification management page.
- Await approval — our staff will review your application and send you an email confirming your status.
Submitting Courses for Approval
- Submit course details — enter your course’s dates, times, description, instructor qualifications, learning objectives, format, credits, and certificate information (if applicable) via the Course Submission Portal.
- AFA Review — AFA staff will review your submission and notify you of approval within ten business days.
- Course posting — once approved, your course will be listed on the AFA website with a link to register for attendees searching for continuing education opportunities.
- Attendance Verification — after the course concludes, send AFA a verified attendee list within five business days.
- Credit Upload — AFA will upload the attendees’ CEUs to their AFA profiles, streamlining their recertification applications.
